Norohella Huerta Flores
Norohella Huerta Flores,
from Mexico City, is a linguistics professor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and at the Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México. Her professional training is a
licenciatura
in Lengua y Literatura Hispánicas, and a MA in Lingüística Hispánica, both at UNAM. She is currently working on her Ph.D. thesis in Linguistics, about Spanish transitivity verbs. She has published several articles about Spanish Syntax and other topics in Linguistics. Her research interests also include Lexical Semantics and Sociolinguistics. Professor Huerta was recognized in 2000 and in 2004 for his graduate research by the Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes and the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia. She teaches courses in Spanish Syntax and Historical Linguistics.
