Perla Gamboa, from Perú, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of La Libertad, Trujillo, Perú, and her M.A. in Spanish from The University of Iowa with an emphasis in Latin American Literature. Her academic career includes teaching positions at several universities such as Luther College, The University of Iowa and The University of Washington. Currently she teaches Spanish language courses at the University of Puget Sound. Perla has also taught communication, composition and culture courses at the Spanish Language School in Middlebury, Vermont, for 3 summers and is delighted to be part of the new Midd experience in California.
