  • Career Conversation: Phillip Consentino ’00 CIA and National Intelligence World (Tuesday, January 20th 2026, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm EST)

    When: Tuesday, January 20th 2026, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm EST Location: Robert A. Jones '59 Conference Room, Rohatyn Center for Global Affairs Join this session to learn from Phillip, who recently retired from the Central Intelligence Agency after more than 25 years in the Directorate of Analysis.  Phillip served as a counterterrorism analyst, managed analysis on extremist radicalization, South America and China, and as the managing editor of the President’s Daily Brief.  Bring your questions, all students, all majors welcome.  This is not an official recruiting event, but rather an informal occasion to have a discussion with a Midd grad as you explore careers related to the federal government, national intelligence space and life and work in Washington, DC.

  • Creating your First College Résumé (Tuesday, January 20th 2026, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm EST)

    When: Tuesday, January 20th 2026, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm EST Location: Franklin Environmental Center at Hillcrest , 103, 531 College Street, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States The Center for Careers and Internships (CCI) is ready to help you create your first college résumé. Come for the first part for a short presentation on how to transform the skills and experience you’ve gained through classes, jobs, and other activities into a strong, professional Middlebury résumé. Stay as long as you want to work on your résumé. CCI’s Peer Career Advisors will be on hand to provide personalized feedback and guidance. This is your chance to ensure your résumé is ready for any future opportunities, from campus jobs to summer internships. Please bring a laptop if you have one!

  • Seniors: Interviewing like a Pro (Wednesday, January 21st 2026, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm EST)

    When: Wednesday, January 21st 2026, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm EST Location: Axinn Center , 109, 15 Old Chapel Rd, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States Do you have an interview coming up?  Or maybe you’ve had some recently that could have gone better?  In this session you’ll learn best practices for standing out in your introductions (“tell me about yourself”), fit-based interviews (“why do you want to work here?”) and behavioral interviews (“tell me about a time you had to handle a disagreement”). We will review strategies for responding to common questions and inventory prep resources including a new practice interview tool, Big Interview. Open to all students graduating in Feb or May 2026.

MiddWorks for Vermont Summer Internship Program

Spend the summer making a difference for Vermont! Middlebury College is deeply vested in and committed to the future of our home state! MiddWorks for Vermont Summer Internship Program is funded by Middlebury College Center for Careers and Internships and provides internships with a variety of organizations that advance the following:

Pathways & Perspectives

Pathways & Perspectives connects you one-on-one with alumni in Midd2Midd who’ve been in your shoes and are now thriving in a wide range of careers. This series offers 20-minute virtual conversations with alumni volunteers from a variety of industries. These chats are a chance to ask questions, explore career paths, and get personalized advice about graduate school, work culture, and how your Middlebury experience can translate into meaningful opportunities.
