Middlebury College Campus Housing

Only MiddWorks and CCI-sponsored interns working in-person or hybrid with Vermont-based organizations may request Middlebury campus housing once they have accepted their internship offer.

More information on summer housing fees and dining plans can be found here—please note that CCI provides Residential Life with a list of confirmed funded students approved for summer housing.

Also please note that if your campus move-in and departure dates do not align with your internship start and end date, it is your responsibility to work with your supervisor to amend those dates, find alternative housing for the period(s) not covered by campus housing, or start/end the internship remotely.  Students may not remain on campus after finals and until the first June 10 and 11 move-in weekend unless they are working Reunion and Commencement or have extenuating circumstances and have received approval from their Dean and Residential Life.

Champlain College Campus Housing

There are a limited number of rooms available at Champlain College Campus housing in Burlington for preferred MiddWorks interns working in-person with Burlington-based (and possibly Montpelier) organizations.  MiddWorks interns may request Champlain College campus housing once they have accepted their internship offer.  Eligible students must email Amy McGlashan by April 9 to request Champlain College housing

MiddWorks students will be housed at Summit Hall, 56 Summit Street in Burlington, a great location convenient to downtown businesses, restaurants, and recreation as well as public transportation.  See more information here.  The campus housing fee is $1336 for eight weeks (June 12 – August 4)  Exact move in dates TBD.  No dining plans are available, but there is a kitchen and a full lounge.  The $1336 housing fee will be automatically deducted from your $4000 grant award, so your net award will equal $2664. Some off- and on-street parking is available.  Champlain College will require students to sign and confirm their understanding of housing code of conduct.

Please note that campus move-in and departure dates may not align with your internship start and end dates—it is the intern’s responsibility to work with their supervisor to amend those dates, find alternative housing for the period(s) not covered by Champlain campus housing, or start/end the internship remotely.

Please email Amy McGlashan with questions. Housing is limited on the Champlain College campus and may be limited on the Middlebury campus so please confirm your plans as soon as possible.
