The best way to get to know Middlebury is with a visit. You can visit online or come to campus for an information session and tour.

Fall Open House

Join us October 10th, 2026 for an open house! Featuring:

  • an information session packed with essentials about the Middlebury application process, academics, and campus life.
  • a campus tour led by current students.
  • lunch in the dining halls.
  • afternoon “class” sessions featuring professors discussing their academic disciplines and research topics.

Please be aware that the Fall Open House capacity has been reached and the waitlist is nearing capacity. If we receive cancellations, the waitlist will move automatically. If your dates are flexible, we encourage you to schedule a daily tour and information session for more availability.

Campus Visit

A scheduled campus visit includes the following:

  • A 30-minute information session, led by an admissions representative or student representative.
  • A student-led two-mile campus tour. Each tour group may include several families; each registering student may have up to three additional family members/guests join the tour.

Schedule Your Tour

We encourage you to plan your trip to Middlebury in advance. Our programs require preregistration, and some area lodgings tend to book quickly.

Check in at the Admissions Office at least 10 minutes before the start of your campus visit. Our campus is dog friendly, but dogs are not permitted on the tour.

Self-Guided Tour

Self-guided tour maps are available online and at the Admissions Office. During business hours, students and staff members will be available to answer any questions.

Accessibility

Middlebury’s campus is ADA accessible. If you or someone in your party requires accommodation (e.g., a wheelchair-accessible tour or an ASL interpreter), please contact Admissions at least two weeks in advance.

Group Visits

Complete the Group Visit form if you are bringing a group of 10 or more students to campus.

Class Visits

Class visits are only offered to admitted seniors.

Online Visit

Traveling to campus isn’t always possible, and that’s OK!  Wherever you are in the world, you can make a virtual visit to Middlebury.

Online Information Sessions

Every Tuesday and every other Thursday, these Zoom gatherings will provide a brief overview of the Middlebury experience and will allow plenty of time for questions.
