  • CCI's Quick Questions Hours with Peer Career Advisors and Engagement Fellows (Thursday, January 21st 2021, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST)

    When: Thursday, January 21st 2021, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST Location: Unknown CCI’s well-trained student team of Peer Career Advisors and Peer Career Engagement Fellows can share timely guidance and answers on a variety of topics including: * Getting started on your first college résumé * Reviews of résumés and cover letters * How to schedule a career advising appointment * How to search for internship and job opportunities * Strategies for career exploration and networking using Midd2Midd and LinkedIn * Tips for interview prep * How to access resources like Handshake, GoinGlobal, Vault, etc. Peer Career Advisors (PCA's) and Peer Engagement Fellows (PEFs) are available for Quick Questions via Zoom. We will be use the Zoom waiting room feature to support your drop-in session. Join the Zoom meeting at any point during this block of time.  This is first come first serve, so there may be a wait depending on volume and timing.

  • Find and Fund Your Summer Internship! (Thursday, January 21st 2021, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST)

    When: Thursday, January 21st 2021, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST Location: Unknown Now is the perfect time to be planning your summer internship! Learn strategies for finding or creating the best summer internship for you. At this session, we will: • Give you examples of past internships Midd students have done. • Highlight top resources to use in the search process. • Discuss strategies for creating your own experience. • Provide an overview of CCI’s GRANT FUNDING available for unpaid internships. • Help you with the process of narrowing down fields in which to pursue your internship. This session will be offered twice (Jan. 20 at 10:00 am EST and Jan. 21 at 4:00 pm EST) and will also be recorded and posted on CCI's internship web site. Students may also drop into Quick Questions (see schedule at go/PCAs) or make an appointment through Handshake with a CCI advisor for help. We look forward to seeing you and answering all of your questions!

Field Guides

Field Guides help students think broadly about where their academic work may lead them in a professional context. 

futureforward

futureforward features several alumni and parents who are leaders in a variety of career fields, discussing their industry’s current environment, their perspective on the future outlook for that career field, and action steps students can take now to position themselves for entry into those career fields.

Live from DC

Live From DC is an online discussion among Middlebury alumni on legislation, legal remedy, and remediation efforts.

MIDDVantage

MIDDVantage is a virtual career exploration program that offers Middlebury students and alumni exposure to fields of interest during a time in which in-person career programming, internship, and job experiences have been curtailed due to COVID-19.

Student Treks

Student Treks connect students with alumni and organizations during onsite visits and job shadowing experiences.

UpNext

UpNext brings alumni in a specific career industry to campus to give students an insider’s understanding of that industry.
