  • Middlebury Alum from JPMorgan Chase & Co. (Monday, January 26th 2026, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST)

    When: Monday, January 26th 2026, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST Location: Axinn Center , 219, 15 Old Chapel Rd, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States Join Hunter Merryman ’15 to learn about sales & trading at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Widely regarded as one the leading global S&T franchises, JPMorgan Chase &Co provides execution and market-making services in equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities to institutional clients worldwide, leveraging its deep client relationships and sophisticated technology platforms. Its sales teams are recognized for strong client service and responsiveness, while its trading desks have delivered record trading revenues in volatile markets.Hunter will provide an overview of his role in corporate derivatives/foreign exchange (FX), including his work with global corporate clients to design and hedge their exposure across foreign revenue and manage cross border acquisitions and debt. JPMorgan historically ranks as a top three firm by FX trading volume in this $7.5T market, and last year its work was honored by a host of awards including Euromoney’s World’s Best FX Market Maker, Best Bank for FX Options, Best FX Bank in North America, Best FX Bank in the Nordics, and Best Bank for FX Data and Analytics.Prior to his time at JPM, Hunter spent seven years at Well Fargo, where he focused on both middle market banking and foreign exchange. He is also a former Middlebury athlete who went on to play professionally in Europe. 

  • Introduction to Networking: How to Build Relationships for Career Exploration (Monday, January 26th 2026, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST)

    When: Monday, January 26th 2026, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST Location: Franklin Environmental Center at Hillcrest , 103, 531 College Street, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States Come to this session led by a peer advisor to learn more about what exactly networking is, how to do it, and why it is important.  You’ll walk away with tips to use Midd2Midd and LinkedIn better, what to write in outreach emails and the top 10 questions to ask during informational chats.  Plus, learn about the elevator pitch for more of the impromptu networking that can happen at events, compared to the planned process of reaching out and targeting individuals.

  • AlphaSights Midd Tabling w/Midd Alum! (Wednesday, March 4th 2026, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST)

    When: Wednesday, March 4th 2026, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST Location: Davis Library , Vestibule (Near the Cafe), 110 Storrs Ave, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States Come meet the AlphaSights team with fellow Midd alum, Antoine Belisle, to learn more about us! We will be tabling in Davis Library. Whether you are interested in learning more about AlphaSights, exploring career paths in business, research, or marketing, this is a great way to connect with our team 1:1. We are currently actively hiring for our Client Service team (internships and full-time opportunities), so please reach out to Middlebury's dedicated Recruiter, Tenzin (tenzin.andrugtsang@alphasights.com), for information on the application process.Compensation for Client Services: Summer 2026 Full-Time: Expect total first-year compensation ranging from $90-110k (average to high performance), consisting of (i) an annual base salary of $75,000 and (ii) uncapped variable compensation linked to individual performance.  *Annual base salary shall increase to $80,000 after July 2026Summer 2026 Internship: Internship compensation is $15,384.62 for a 10-week program.Qualifications for our Client Services Team Strong academic credentials (undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or above) Work authorization in the United States; we do not sponsor visas but will consider applicants with 3-year STEM OPT eligibility

Pathways & Perspectives

Pathways & Perspectives connects you one-on-one with alumni in Midd2Midd who’ve been in your shoes and are now thriving in a wide range of careers.
