  • Winter Term Internship Info Session (Wednesday, September 28th 2022, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm EDT)

    When: Wednesday, September 28th 2022, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm EDT This information session will cover the steps needed to find a winter-term internship, earn internship credit, and secure funding support from the CCI (limited grants available to students on financial aid OR for internships related to conflict transformation). Students unable to attend may schedule an appointment with Cheryl Whitney Lower or any CCI advisor. Please note: Sophomores through Super Seniors are eligible to participate in Winter Term internships for credit.

  • Seurat Group Info Session (Consulting) (Wednesday, September 28th 2022, 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm EDT)

    When: Wednesday, September 28th 2022, 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm EDT The Seurat Group is an innovative, boutique, insights-driven consumer packaged goods consulting and private equity firm. Its mission is to delight consumers and create the clarity to act and invest in the future. They help clients and portfolio companies sell more, more profitably, in more places, to more people by challenging convention. Inspired by the artist Georges Seurat, the founder of the Pointillism movement who used individual dots of color to create entire images, they unlock value by integrating multiple lenses of insight and creating new perspectives. Seurat Group works with a range of clients, from billion-dollar brands to leading ‘challenger brands’ that are disrupting the industry. Join this info session to learn more about Seurat Group and the Business Analyst Role which is primarily focused on the Consulting side of the business and will have the opportunity to support Seurat Capital as opportunities arise. The Business Analyst role is primarily focused on the Consulting side of our business and will have the opportunity to support Seurat Capital as opportunities arise. On typical project engagements, you would be responsible for: • Designing, conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative primary research • Interpreting insights from a variety of different data sources and helping the team think about the implications for our clients’ businesses • Conducting secondary research to better understand changes and trends in the industry • Supporting creation of the presentations we use to help our clients understand our insights and recommended solutions Who You Are • Employees come from diverse backgrounds and majors but share a strong foundation in critical thinking and complex problem-solving • Must be comfortable with numbers and able to draw insights and conclusions from data, whether from academic classes or job/internship experience • Ability to manage work across multiple projects simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication • Proven leadership and collaboration in a team setting • Intellectual curiosity and ability to master new skills quickly • Ideally have strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, but this is not required • Advanced skills in data and social media analytics are a plus, but not required

  • CCI's Cider and Doughnuts! (Thursday, September 29th 2022, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm EDT)

    When: Thursday, September 29th 2022, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm EDT Come join us for CCI’s annual kick-off to Fall! Part snack break, part CCI party, the Center for Careers and Internships welcomes all students to stop by! Featuring Happy Valley apple cider, doughnuts, and apples. Enjoy a quintessential Vermont fall treat, while learning about CCI and our resources. Meet our staff, our Peer Career Advisors, and the dogs of CCI! Join us on the Kitchel House lawn any time between 3:30 and 5:00 pm.

Field Guides

Field Guides help students think broadly about where their academic work may lead them in a professional context. 


futureforward features several alumni and parents who are leaders in a variety of career fields, discussing their industry’s current environment, their perspective on the future outlook for that career field, and action steps students can take now to position themselves for entry into those career fields.

Live from DC

Live From DC is an online discussion among Middlebury alumni on legislation, legal remedy, and remediation efforts.


MIDDVantage is a virtual career exploration program that offers Middlebury students and alumni exposure to fields of interest during a time in which in-person career programming, internship, and job experiences have been curtailed due to COVID-19.

Student Treks

Student Treks connect students with alumni and organizations during onsite visits and job shadowing experiences.
