    When: Wednesday, October 20th 2021, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm EDT Location: Unknown Please join us for a Career Conversation and a Media Industry Discussion with Sydney Warren '19, Podcast Strategy Manager at ViacomCBS . She will discuss her career journey and current trends in the industry. Sydney received a bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Culture from Middlebury College in 2019. She currently works in audio and podcasting at ViacomCBS where she serves as the Manager of Podcast Strategy. She focuses on growing and developing successful podcast slates across the company’s entire portfolio of brands, such as MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, CBS, and more. Prior to joining the Podcast Team, she held various positions at ViacomCBS and in the media/entertainment sector, including roles in operations, marketing, and production.

Field Guides

Field Guides help students think broadly about where their academic work may lead them in a professional context. 


futureforward features several alumni and parents who are leaders in a variety of career fields, discussing their industry’s current environment, their perspective on the future outlook for that career field, and action steps students can take now to position themselves for entry into those career fields.

Live from DC

Live From DC is an online discussion among Middlebury alumni on legislation, legal remedy, and remediation efforts.


MIDDVantage is a virtual career exploration program that offers Middlebury students and alumni exposure to fields of interest during a time in which in-person career programming, internship, and job experiences have been curtailed due to COVID-19.

Student Treks

Student Treks connect students with alumni and organizations during onsite visits and job shadowing experiences.


UpNext brings alumni in a specific career industry to campus to give students an insider’s understanding of that industry.
