Registering for Fall 2025 General and Organic Chemistry
If you are interested in enrolling in 

  • CHEM 0102: Chemistry Foundations
  • CHEM 0104: General Chemistry II
  • CHEM 0105: General Chemistry
  • CHEM 0205 (formerly 0203): Organic Chemistry I
  • CHEM 0305 (formerly 0204): Organic Chemistry II
  • CHEM 0322: Biochemistry of Macromolecules

you should:

  1. Be sure that you are eligible to enroll. This means that you have completed the pre-reqs for the course as listed in the Course Catalog. For general chemistry courses (0102, 0104, 0105), this means that you have determined the correct course for you, outlined here: Chemistry Placement Information and taken the placement exam, if needed
  2. For sophomores and above: During your assigned Banner window, try to register for your desired chemistry course as quickly as possible.
  3. For first years: put your desired chemistry course at/near the top of your priority list for the block registration process
  4. If you tried but were unsuccessful in registering for your desired chemistry course, add your name to the appropriate waitlist below. Waitlists will open on Thursday, May 1, 2025 after the regular registration process is complete.
