A Living and Learning Community

The Hebrew House is an academic interest house designed for students who want to immerse themselves in the Hebrew language. Residents commit to a language pledge, similar to Middlebury’s summer language school, which requires speaking only Hebrew while in the house.

Activities

Beyond serving as a residence, the Hebrew House acts as a learning hub for the broader Hebrew-learning community. Students often drop by to practice their language skills and engage with Hebrew-language music, films and games. Residents are also expected to organize Hebrew-related events throughout the academic year.
