The BtP Fellowship is a year-long or multi-year experiential training program for students to build skills as teaching artists, facilitators, leaders, and educators.

A leader works with Fellows in a classroom.

Fellows are an integral part of the program, helping co-design workshops and campus-wide events alongside professional artists, faculty, staff, and other college programs. The Fellowship also connects our students to The Bread Loaf School of English (BLSE), providing invaluable  learning opportunities with the acclaimed BLSE Acting Ensemble as well as a wide range of professionals working in arts-integration and civic engagement.

“I’m super thankful to BtP for being my introduction to the field of teaching artistry…I am now well prepared to make my own lessons, target class needs, and dialogue with professors and teachers. [I gained] a fundamental knowledge of what can work in a classroom, excite students, and get a class to engage and into a space of letting go and trying something new.”

– Annabelle Iredale, Professional Teaching Artist and Former Fellow
