Millborne Farms / Marketing Strategy

Under the guidance of Ernie Parizeau, professor of entrepreneurship at Babson College, and Gert Schut, owner of Millborne Farms Dairy, students were challenged to devise a marketing and distribution strategy for Millborne Farms burgeoning drinkable yogurt business. The students traveled to retailers in Middlebury, Bristol, Burlington, and other towns in the vicinity to perform market research focused on retailers, distributors, and consumers. The final presentations included students’ recommendations relating to marketing the product, financing an expansion, and even improving the product itself.
