R/V David Folger

The R/V David Folger is a 32-foot  vessel used for bathymetry, science courses and student-faculty research.  She is equipped with over 300 sensors across it’s two hulls and hydraulic winches that are used to retrieve core sediment samples from the bottom of Lake Champlain.  The Folger is an ocean capable vessel that does additional research in the Finger Lakes.
