Next Steps for Transfer Students
Congratulations again! You’ve been accepted to Middlebury College as a transfer student.
Here’s what comes next.
We encourage you to take the time to appreciate your accomplishment and this new stage of your college career. Then, please take these next steps to confirm your transfer status to Middlebury College student.
Accept our offer of admission.
Log into the application portal and accept our offer of admission. (If you intend to decline our offer, please let us know.)
Make your enrollment deposit.
Once you complete the Reply to Offer of Admission form, you will receive further information regarding your enrollment deposit. Within three days of completing these tasks, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
Check your email for confirmation.
We will send you an email confirmation within three days of receiving your enrollment deposit.
Activate your Middlebury email account.
Once you receive your enrollment confirmation, you can set up your email account:
- Go to go.middlebury.edu/activate.
- Use the ID in your online acceptance notice.
- Use your PIN, which initially is your birthday in MMDDYY format.
Set up multifactor authentication (MFA).
To view your Middlebury email account, you must first set up MFA:
- Go to go.middlebury.edu/mfaguide or
- Contact the Technology Helpdesk at 802-443-2200 or go.middlebury.edu/zoom2help.
Check your email regularly.
Send your final college transcript.
Request that your registrar forward your final college transcript to Middlebury’s Admissions Office at the end of your current semester (if you are currently enrolled). Be sure to complete your current course work and maintain a consistent level of academic performance.
Inform us of any disciplinary actions or unlawful conduct.
Should you receive a notice of disciplinary action or engage in unlawful conduct, please let us know. Under certain circumstances, we may review your admissions decision and reconsider our offer of admission.
