Transfer Credit Evaluations

In order to receive credit for your previous academic work, please request that the registrar of your previous college send your final college transcript to Middlebury’s Admissions Office.

• You will receive an email from Middlebury with an initial estimate of your number of transferable credits within 14 days of receiving your transcript.
• When we receive your final college transcript, we will complete a final evaluation of your credit transfer.
• You will be notified by the Registrar’s Office of credits awarded when you arrive for orientation.
• You must complete at least two years (18 credits) at Middlebury in order to earn a Middlebury degree, regardless of the number of college credits you have already earned.
