Feb Celebration Ceremony

While not a formal graduation ceremony—Febs and their families are invited back to campus in May to participate in Commencement—the Feb Celebration is a beloved tradition recognizing the contributions of the College’s mid-year graduates.

You are invited to this celebration, during which students will process in academic regalia into Virtue Field House, where President Baucom will address the Feb class, as will a student representative of the class and a speaker chosen by the Class of 2025.5.  Each member of the class will be presented with a replica of Gamaliel Painter’s cane, given on behalf of the Alumni Association. (For faculty, there is no need to come with regalia to this ceremony, unlike May Commencement.) 

Ski Down

Faculty are also welcome to join students and their guests at the Snowbowl for the Ski Down following the ceremony in Virtue. Due to the large number of students participating in the Ski Down at the Snowbowl and the limited parking available at the Bowl for families and friends, we ask that faculty park at Bread Loaf and travel to the Snowbowl via shuttles that will be provided. Faculty are also invited to join the graduates and their guests for a celebratory luncheon at Proctor and Ross Dining Halls beginning at 1:00 p.m.
