As a central space on campus, the Davis Family Library brings together students, faculty, and staff for all kinds of activities. Catch up with friends in Wilson Café, collaborate on a project in the media lab, or tuck into a carrel for some quiet reading.
A key element of a Middlebury education is getting out of the classroom and into the field. Our distinctive location provides access to the forests, valleys, and numerous lakes, rivers, and creeks.
We have hundreds of clubs and organizations, from fencing to improv to student dance troupes—and the resources for you to start something new as well.
Our robust curriculum in the sciences explores everything from the microscopic to the interstellar, whether you’re planting seeds in the BiHall Greenhouse or searching for stars in the Mittelman Observatory.
All your classes are taught by Middlebury faculty members—not graduate assistants—and you have more than 850 courses in 44 majors to choose from. Classes are small, and your professors are invested in your success.
Choose from 31 varsity sports or a host of intramural and club opportunities. Middlebury is a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and has celebrated numerous NCAA championships.
Not only will you find your place here, but you’ll find opportunities to share your values. The vibrant and inviting Anderson Freeman Resource Center promotes an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for our campus community.
