A full orientation schedule for students and families can be found below. Move-In day information can be found here. Specific arrival instructions will be added in the coming days and also shared via email.

Events that do not have a designation (e.g., “For Families,” “First@Midd,” etc.) are intended for all students.

Wednesday, February 4, 2026 | Move In Day - New Student Orientation Begins

Move-in Day for New Students

Students and Families will arrive to campus based on their student’s room assignments.

- Students living on floor 2 will move in from 9-9:45 am

- Students living on floors 0 and 3 will move in from 9:45-10:30 am

- Students living on floor 1 will move in from 10:30-11:15 am

- Transfer & Exchange students will check in from 9:45-10:30 am at Allen Hall and will then be directed to Coffrin hall to move in. 

*Please Note: 

- Room numbers begin with the floor number where the student lives (e.g., a room starting with “2” is on Floor 2). 

- All international students will arrive on Tuesday, February 3. More information can be found on the ISSS arrival website

Get Ready for Convocation! A Member of Res Life will meet you on your hall floor or if you are a transfer or exchange student they will meet you in the Allen Lounge. You will then walk over to the Convocation line up on Storrs Walk. Dress warm!

Join the Anderson Freeman Center and the Center for Careers and Internships to explore how we are socialized about finances, explore how your budget can reflect your values, and learn about the ways the CCI can help you access opportunities to build financial agency through resume support, exploration of internships, and career exploration. Walk away with understanding key concepts of financial capability and an action plan to engage with the CCI throughout your time on campus.

End your first week at Middlebury with Rabbi Danielle Stillman and students active in Hillel, with a home-cooked Shabbat dinner at the Jewish Center in the Freeman International Center (FIC).  We will bring in the Jewish day of rest with blessings over wine and challah, followed by a great meal.  All students are welcome at this event, regardless of whether you have a Jewish background or not.
