Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I chose to attend Middlebury because I wanted to continue learning French and Middlebury is well-known for its language immersion program. I also wanted more time to explore different areas of studies, which I was able to do so because of Middlebury’s distribution requirements. I also wanted to continue my outdoors pursuits, and Middlebury has rigorous outdoor programs such as the Mountain Club that captured my interest. Most importantly, I wanted to do scientific research in a small school and forge meaningful relationships with faculty members.

Favorite study spot? One of the sofas overlooking the Knoll in Bicentennial Hall.

Favorite food in the dining hall? I am obsessed with the dining hall’s homemade pesto sauce.

Where did you study abroad, or where would you study abroad if you could? I’ve applied to study at the University of Nottingham, and I am currently waiting to hear back.

Favorite Vermont spot? My favorite Vermont spot has to be Church Street in Burlington.

One fun fact about you or unknown talent you have: I am the first Cambodian to graduate from my high school.
