Dieuwke Davydov

We have been honored to call Dieuwke an affiliate artist, mentor, and friend. We wish her the best as she retires from teaching at Middlebury College.

A native of Holland, Dieuwke Davydov graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory, won first prize in the Jeunesse Musicale International Competition in London, and came to the U.S. for graduate work with legendary cellist Leonard Rose at the Juilliard School of Music. After winning the Concert Artist Guild Competition in New York, Ms. Davydov gave her debut recital in Carnegie Hall with pianist Diana Fanning.

She has performed widely throughout the U.S, in Europe, Israel and Panama and gave a series of master classes, recitals and concerts as a soloist with the Nairobi Symphony Orchestra in Kenya, Africa.
