Karen Bartlett

Karen graduated from Middlebury with a bachelor’s degree in geography and environmental studies and a master’s degree in education from the University of New Hampshire. She met her husband, Jud, during a cartography class at Middlebury in 1994. Following graduation, they moved to New Hampshire where Karen was a teacher, coach and college counselor at Tilton School. In 2007, they returned to the Middlebury area with their two children. After many years as an active member of the Middlebury alumni admissions program, Karen began work in the admissions office in 2009 and began her current role as associate director for international admissions in 2016. When she’s not able to travel internationally, you can often find her exploring various parts of the Trail Around Middlebury.
