Maria Del Sol Nava

Originally from Los Angeles, Maria graduated from Middlebury in 2018 with a degree in Mathematics and Italian. As a student, Maria was a First@Midd Peer Leader, President of Evolution Dance Crew, Mentor for UR-STEM, and an active member of Alianza. Maria is first-generation Mexican-American and was the first in her family to earn a Bachelor’s degree. Her family made the cross country road trip from Southern California to see her walk the stage at Commencement. Maria decided to stay in Vermont for an additional two years as an Admissions Counselor to share her enthusiasm for Middlebury with prospective students and families, and is excited to call Vermont her second home. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, reading, traveling, swimming, and making puns.
