Taunia Cantin

Taunia has been working at Middlebury College since 2006 in varying roles that have included supporting Language Schools, Commencement/Events Planning, the Registrar’s Office but mostly her time has been dedicated to the mission of Student Affairs. She is the “knower of all things and systems”. Her approachable nature offers a kind and welcoming environment to students who come in for meetings or are just stopping by. She helps keep our office organized, systems running smoothly, is a liaison, and an integral part of our team. She will most likely be the first person you connect with upon entering the office/emailing/calling.  She is one of the nicest people you can meet and we encourage you to visit our office in Stewart Hall and say, “Hi.” 

When Taunia is not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, gardening, spending time outdoors, camping, volunteering (at church and Town Events Committee), and road trips/traveling. She loves being a wife, mother, soon to be grandmother; although, she already enjoys being a grandmother to her fur-grand’s (Ms. Hazel, Rubius, Griffin, Toulouse, Rookie and Merrick)!!! Taunia’s care for people is authentic and unconditional. These innate characteristics translate and highlight the deep care she has for our students and colleagues.
