Lindsay Auger is a Teacher of English as a Second/Foreign Language, having graduated from Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educación (UPLA) in Valparaíso, Chile. Her academic background also includes a Master’s degree in Linguistics with a specialization in Hispanic American and Chilean Dialectology from the same university.
During her training as a teacher, Lindsay was actively involved in supporting international students, serving as an Exchange Student Tutor at UPLA. In this role, she guided and assisted students from different countries, helping them adapt to their new academic and cultural environment. Through this experience, she collaborated with Middlebury program students and became familiar with the School in Chile.
In the fall of 2014, Lindsay had the opportunity to experience studying abroad herself, spending a semester at Université de Sherbrooke in Québec, Canada. This experience further enriched her intercultural perspective and reinforced her passion for international education.
Currently, Lindsay is part of the Middlebury School in Chile staff, where she works closely with students, providing support in their adaptation process and academic journey in Chile. Her background in Linguistics, Education, and International Exchange allows her to offer valuable guidance to students navigating the cultural and linguistic challenges of studying abroad.
