Raghad Husni Sayyed
Resident Coordinator, School in Jordan
Raghad graduated from the University of Jordan with a double major in English and Spanish Language and Literature. Her passion for languages and cultures led her to an exchange semester at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, Italy, where she had the chance to immerse herself in the language, culture and educational system there.
In her final semester at UJ, she volunteered as a student mentor with the Middlebury School in Jordan, and it was an experience that deepened her connection with her own country through the eyes of the students. She then spent two years at Middlebury College as a Teaching Assistant and Cultural Coordinator in the Arabic Department.
After a few months back in Jordan to recharge, Raghad was overjoyed to rejoin the Middlebury family as a Resident Coordinator.
When she’s not working, you can often find her gazing at the sky, watching sunsets, observing birds and people walking by, or simply reflecting on these moments. She also enjoys writing, sharing, and listening to stories, and of course, dancing.
