Rawan Nakhleh is an independent journalist who has been working in journalism for several years. She has focused on investigative journalism, producing several investigative pieces and in-depth reports, with a special interest in ethnographic journalism. She is a podcast producer and hostess who has worked within teams on more than 11 podcast programs, varying between investigative, documentary, news, narrative, and dialogue formats, among others.

Alongside her journalistic work, she has directed three short documentary films, produced a fourth one, and directed a short narrative film called “Ḥay” (neighborhood) which was screened at several film festivals and was nominated for several Arab film awards. At the Middlebury School in Jordan, she teaches a course titled “Exploring Jordan through Markets, Urbanism, and Agriculture,” where she utilizes her expertise and passion through experiential learning pedagogy.
