Allen Jones

Allen C. Jones is a Californian writer and poet serving as associate professor of literature at the University of Stavanger, Norway. His creative work includes a novel (Her Death Was Also Water), a collection of short stories (Big Weird Lonely Hearts), and a book of critical-creative poems studying an intentional community in northern California (Son of a Cult: A Longitudinal Study). His critical work focuses on the intersection of twentieth-century experimental writing and contemporary game-based approaches to literary writing, reading, and teaching. He is involved in teacher training and an ongoing collaboration with local high schools designing and testing creative writing games for reading (CWGR).
