Studying in Paris was the most transformative experience of my life. While at the Middlebury program, I had the opportunity to explore a wonderful city. Balancing psychology courses at Université Paris Cité and french courses Middlebury’s Centre Madeleine allowed an academic semester that was immersive and supportive, and offered a new perspective on a discipline I knew very well. The program offered a perfect amount of independence to go around, getting to know the city. I saw dozens of museums (for free!), sat in beautiful parks, strolled the seine, and admired fantastic feats of architecture with a great group of people.

I am so grateful for my time at the Middlebury program and all the connections I made during that semester. Studying abroad is an expansive experience – something that will always take work– and if you’re someone looking to develop your position in the world as a global citizen, and lean into learning a new culture, Middlebury is the place to do it.
