Lindsay is a Teacher of English as a second/foreign language, having graduated from the Playa Ancha University of Educational Sciences in Valparaíso (UPLA). During her journey to becoming a teacher, she participated as an Exchange Student Tutor by guiding and assisting the arrival of international students coming from different countries to Playa Ancha University. During this period, she had the chance to work with some students from the Middlebury program and met part of the School in Chile team. In the fall of 2014, she had the opportunity to live the exchange student experience herself by studying at Université de Sherbrooke in Québec, Canada. Upon her return, she demonstrated even more interest in study abroad experiences, basing her thesis project on this topic. Currently, she works as Coordinator of International Affairs at the same University in which she studied.
