Tania González is an anthropologist holding a PhD in Social Anthropology from Stockholm University (SE) and a MA in Performance Practices from ArtEZ University of the Arts (NL). She was a Marie-Curie research fellow and member of the ITN Diasporic Constructions of Home and Belonging (CoHaB). Tania has previously worked in several EU projects dealing with border regimes, migration policies and human rights for different institutions such as ICMPD-International Centre for Migration Policy Development, Eliamep-Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy, and CIDOB-Barcelona Centre for International Affairs. She has taught and conducted research extensively in the fields of social anthropology and gender studies, focusing especially on care, affect, and migration at different institutions in Europe and Latin America. Tania is currently based in Madrid and works as an associate professor in different American university programs.
