Lubna Muawad

Lubna Muawad received her MA in Arabic Language for speakers of other languages from the University of Jordan. Her BA (also from UJ) is in Applied English linguistics, and she holds certificates in Recitation of the Quran, “phonetics”, and TOT (Training of Trainers). She taught Arabic for other study abroad providers in Amman and the US Embassy before working with the School in Jordan. In Malaysia, she trained directors and teachers of Arabic for non-native speakers. She has delivered Arabic language and culture courses for international students, academics, and diplomats from a diverse spectrum of nationalities and cultures. She is the author of several books including Directly To Spoken Arabic and Training and qualification of Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers.
