Undergraduates who complete their academic requirements during the winter term can participate in February Celebration. Febs and their families may also return to campus in May to participate in Commencement. Febs must indicate their intent to participate in the May ceremony on the “Intent to Graduate” survey they receive from the Registrar’s Office.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer guest lodging for Feb Celebration as dorm rooms are occupied by students.

No, but we continue to strongly recommend that all Middlebury students, employees, and visitors follow CDC guidance and stay up-to-date on their vaccinations. Pease visit the College COVID-19 Updates page for details. Thank you!

A luncheon for families & guests is offered in both Proctor and Ross dining halls on Saturday after the Ski Down. 

Note: Food and beverages (other than water) are not allowed in Virtue Field House where the Feb Celebration is held. We thank you for your cooperation in protecting the track and turf surfaces in this athletic facility.

Yes, professional photographers will be on hand to photograph each Feb as they receive their cane. Class members will also gather for a class photo at the Snow Bowl.

Portraits will be available from GradImages a few days after the ceremony. Febs may register in advance and include friends and family to receive a discount offer and notification when photos are ready. Please contact GradImages’ customer service department at (800) 261-2576, online at www.gradimages.com, or email ecc.giservice@gradimages.net with any questions regarding their offerings.

The class photo will be made available through SmugMug.

We are privileged to use Virtue Field House for Feb Celebration. To ensure optimal condition of the track and turf surfaces, no food is allowed and water is the only allowable beverage.

Service and assistance animals that are required because of a disability and are trained to work or perform a task are welcome. 

Guests are encouraged to leave pets at home. Even the most well-behaved pet can become frightened and unpredictable in a crowded, noisy setting.

Pets are not allowed in college buildings including residence halls. Animals visiting campus grounds shall be leashed at all times and may not be left unattended or tied to any objects.

Yes! Please join us at either Wilson Hall on the second floor of McCullough Student Center or Dana Auditorium in Sunderland Hall to view the live stream. You can also watch the live stream anywhere from this link.

There will also be a recording of the Ski Down posted to the Feb Celebration website the week following the event.

This year’s academic calendar allows for Feb graduates to remain on campus Saturday night. The deadline for Feb grads to vacate their dorm rooms is noon on Sunday, February 4, so that rooms can be prepared for the incoming Feb class.

The College Store in Proctor Hall offers a wide array of Midd clothing and gifts. Patrons receive a 15% discount on Saturday, February 3. The Store will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Any items left behind at the ceremony in Virtue Field House or on the student shuttle buses will be brought to the lost and found area at Public Safety (125 South Main Street/Route 30).
