Early Decision 2 Students Confirm Your Enrollment by March 1
A group of students and their professor sit around a seminar table.

Throughout late March and the month of April, faculty welcome visiting admitted students to classes.

The faculty of Middlebury College welcomes you to campus and encourages you to visit classes as your schedule allows. If you are visiting this spring and would like to visit a class but won’t be at Preview Day, please select from this list.

When visiting a class, please arrive early at each class in order to introduce yourself to the professor.

Note: In order to provide admitted students with the most authentic classroom experience possible, we ask that parents and other guests refrain from visiting classes.

What to Know about Visiting Classes

Students who plan to visit a class while on campus should…

  • Arrive to the Admissions Office (Emma Willard House) 30 minutes before the start of the class to check in. This will give you enough time to check in and get to the class location with ample time to introduce yourself to the professor.
  • Stay for the entire class period.
  • Know that some classes begin during a tour time. If you would like to attend a class that begins during your tour, please inform your tour guide before leaving Admissions, and they’ll help you arrive on time while missing a minimum of tour information.
  • Note that college class schedules are subject to change, and there may be instances where a class is canceled or altered due to exams, professor availability, or other factors; we cannot guarantee that every class will run or welcome visitors during every scheduled meeting. If you arrive on campus for a class visit and are unable to attend due to a class cancellation or exam, we will provide you with alternative course offerings if they are available during that time.
