Abeer is an Arabic educator with experience teaching Arabic for non-native speakers of all levels and backgrounds. Abeer received both her BA and MA from the University of Jordan in Arabic Language and Literature. In addition to teaching, she has worked as a coordinator, a curricula writer, and a developer in various Arabic institutes in Amman. In 2018, Abeer was granted a Fulbright Scholarship to teach Arabic at the University of Kentucky. During that time, she participated in and organized a number of cultural activities and discussions related to Arab culture and society.

Abeer is passionate about the field of Arabic linguistics. Specifically, she is interested in the relations between and applications of Arabic language varieties in everyday speech and in formal education.
