Emma left the North American continent for the first time in 2016 when she traveled to Beijing to study abroad with the Middlebury School in China. Three years later, she is thrilled to return to the program, this time as staff. After graduating from Middlebury College in 2017 with a joint major in Chinese and Geography, she moved to Xi’an, China. There she spent a year working with the Rural Education Action Program (REAP) as an Academic Editor. A Wisconsin native, Emma’s adventures have taken her farther and farther from home, but her love of cheese has never changed. In her spare time, you will most likely find her eating, journaling, or practicing guitar.
