Oliver Shaw

Oliver Shaw has an International Ph.D. in English Studies from the Universidad de Zaragoza, where he completed his doctoral thesis on written academic discourse in the field of medicine and biomedical research. Before obtaining his doctorate, Professor Shaw earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, and a Magíster in translation from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he works as a freelance editor and translator of medical texts.
