Rasha Jalees received her Ph.D. in Arabic Criticism and Literature from the University of Jordan where she is a part time lecturer of Arabic Criticism and Literature. She has been an instructor of MSA for the School in Jordan since 2016, and has also worked as an instructor of Classical Arabic Literature at Institut français du Proche-Orient in Amman. Between 2010 and 2012, Rasha worked as an editor for Ad-Dustour Newspaper. From 2012 to 2015, she taught Arabic as a Foreign Language at the Jordan Language Academy and the Modern Language Centre.  Rasha is a member of Kulimun, a project that develops strategies and curricula for Arabic teaching at schools.  She has worked at The Institute French of Near Eastern Studies (IFPO) since 2018, and has also taught at The University of Jordan in Language Center. She is interested in Arabic Classical texts. She has published research papers in critical and literary theory and Arabic classical thought in several Arabic journals.
