Students and families are welcome to drop-in and meet with specific Middlebury services and departments! Representatives from the Office of Student Employment, Student Financial Services, the Health Center and the Disability Resources Center will be available to chat and answer questions. This affinity space is designed to be an interactive meeting for incoming students who identify as LGBTQIA+ to meet other community members that share their identity and hear about supportive resources on campus.

Academic Forum
Academic Forum is a drop-in event for new students, but attending is strongly recommended for all new students. This event is an opportunity to speak directly to representatives from every academic department or program at the College. Knowledgeable faculty will be on hand to answer any questions that students might have about course offerings, appropriate student placement or potential majors.

Green Dot Dinner
Students will learn about Green Dot Violence Prevention Strategy, a national program that trains students, faculty, and staff in bystander intervention to help prevent instances of power-based personal violence (PBPV). This not only promotes safety for everyone in the Middlebury community, but also sends a clear message that we do not tolerate violence on our campus. This dinner will be facilitated by orientation leaders.
Unlearning at Midd
Unlearning at Midd is a series of workshops required for new students that provide students with tangible ways to be anti-racist, anti-oppressive, engage in critical reflection, and have conversations that challenge their social norms. Check Ideal Logic to see your session room!

Speak About It is an education group that uses theater and small group discussions to educate students about consent. The program and discussions center on topics of consent, sex, and sexual wellness, both in general and in the context of Middlebury’s campus and campus life.
