Over the next several weeks, we will host a number of opportunities for admitted students and families to learn about Middlebury. Join us in person and online to explore what being a Middlebury student is all about. On campus, we’ll be hosting a Preview Day on Monday, April 10, as well as Saturday Sessions. Our virtual welcome and events will take place on March 29. At these events, we’ll introduce you to current students and professors, and help you learn about all that Middlebury has to offer. Middlebury has over 50 majors and minors for students to explore as they engage with our liberal arts curriculum. You might know exactly what you want to major in, or maybe you’re completely undecided (and that’s okay!). Take this opportunity to speak with professors across departments about your academic interests, passions, and curiosities.

The Knoll, 152 Vermont Route 125. The garden will not be staffed, but visitors are welcome to visit The Knoll if they are interested in the Educational Garden, the Outdoor Kitchen, or the Serenity Garden. 

Mittelman Observatory will offer guided tours at 10:45 AM, 11:45 AM, and 1 PM, each 25 minutes in duration. Students interested in the tour should go to Bicentennial Hall, take the elevator on the left to Floor 7, and see Angus Findlay. 

Schools Abroad, Language Schools, and Study Away at Monterey, Sunderland Language Center, 356 College Street. 

Take a break. Eat a snack. Drink a cup of coffee.

Axxin Center for the Humanities, this academic building hosts an array of comfortable seating and workspaces.

Crossroads Café in McCullough is Middlebury’s student-run café, offering coffee, smoothies, and locally prepared sandwiches and sushi. This is also an excellent place to take a seat and have a break. Open from 8:30 AM-9 PM.

Wilson Café in the Davis Library is a place you can take a break with a cup of coffee and light refreshments. Open 8 AM-4 PM.
