Learning Goals

Students who successfully complete the major in music will be able to write, perform, appreciate, and analyze multiple genres and styles of music. They will demonstrate:

• The ability to create and perform music. 
• The ability to apply historical, theoretical, and ethnomusicological knowledge. 
• The ability to integrate different skills and knowledge in their approach to music.
