  • College Community Chorus

    The fall concert of the Middlebury College Community Chorus features the premiere of Salve Regina by Ukrainian composer Dmytro Malyi, and the sublime Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. Alumni Eleanor Mayerfeld ’19.5 and Tevan Goldberg ’20 join the Chorus, with Tim Guiles, piano and Jeffrey Buettner, conductor.

  • Lessons and Carols for Advent and Christmas

    This annual traditional program combines choral music, congregational singing, and the Biblical texts of the season. The celebratory community service (held at both 4:00 and 7:00 pm) features the Middlebury College Choir, performing under the direction of Ronnie Romano, and readings by students, faculty, and staff. There will be large-print programs available, and the 4:00 service will have ASL interpretation.  George Matthew Jr. rings in the service with selections on the chapel carillon.

    A concert featuring guest electronic music artist Sandy Nordahl, joined by Winter Term music instructors Jack Tipper, Matthew Evan Taylor and Peter Hamlin, and Chapman Stick virtuoso Mark Christensen.
