This spritely, gorgeous piece, written to celebrate the bicentennial of Ludvig Holberg (a founding figure in Norwegian literature), re-creates a baroque dance suite using forms from Holberg’s era, and brings to life one of the earliest, most influential, and poignant works of neo-classicism.

Created on Ableton for my MUSC 0214 class, “Squishy” is an instrumental electronic song that tells the story of a worm as it’s flushed out of the grass onto the sidewalk during a rainstorm only to be met by the boots and shoes of unaware college students walking around campus.
The Jazz Trio

The Jazz Trio, formerly known as The Mickey Feeney Trio, features Riley Dowell, guitar, Massimo Sassi, bass and Mickey Feeney, drums. Riley and Massimo have worked together and been mainstays of our jazz program for 3 years; Mickey joined us last year. The group will play a selection of bop and jazz standards.
