Located in southwest France, Bordeaux’s name is synonymous with France’s famous wine industry. The city is also home to over 256,000 residents and several notable museums, parks, architectural sites, and a thriving nightlife. In addition to being one of the largest cities in France, it is also less than an hour from the Atlantic coastline and 2 hours from Paris by high speed train. Bordeaux offers students the opportunity to live in a city that offers both a community feeling and a wide range of activities.
