The staff in France strongly recommends that students arrive at least two days prior to the program start date to recover from jet lag, unpack, and get settled. In cases where that is not possible, students MUST arrive the day before the program begins so they are ready to begin orientation the following day.

* Students in the STEM track hoping to complete the Research Project with Lab Component should anticipate a departure from Poitiers in late May or mid-June, depending on the start date of the research project.

^ All Poitiers students have the option to travel to Chamonix the week of May 18 to participate in a week-long Global Partnerships for Sustainability project. This would lead to a departure date from France of roughly May 25.
