Ariana Falco

My name is Ariana Falco and I am from Aurora, Colorado. I currently am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder and also work as a PEER Advisor mentoring undergraduate students. My Dad is Italian and grew up on the East Coast and my Mom grew up in California. I was raised in a military household and have moved from Colorado to Texas and back to Colorado. In high school I stayed busy with DECA and did many practical competitions. This sparked my interest in Business and Marketing, which led me to my current career as a college student. I am currently studying Strategic Communications, specifically Advertising at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am also double minoring in Philosophy and Peace, Conflict, & Security. My interest in Philosophy has come from my love for learning my whole life. I enjoy reading books and learning different theories and perspectives. My Peace, Conflict, & Security minor is something that I find interest in due to being raised in a military household and constantly being aware of international relations. This also feeds into my interest with the SPP. I am intrigued to learn more about peacebuilding and ways we can start small and bring it to a large scale. I am hoping the knowledge I gain from this experience can be applied to my whole life and future events.
