Your gift helps change the world, one student at a time. Together, we’re already changing it.
Generous support from alumni and friends helps create a dynamic and diverse learning environment for our students. Over more than six decades, the Institute has had an unwavering commitment to providing premier professional international graduate education, preparing students to become leaders in diverse fields throughout the world.
By giving to the Annual Fund, you affirm this commitment and make a powerful difference in the lives of our students, providing them with the solid foundation they’ll need to take on the global challenges of tomorrow.
What the Institute Annual Fund Supports
Thanks to gifts made to the Annual Fund, the Institute is able to provide scholarship support to students, sustain a robust academic community, and attract and retain world-class faculty.
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide much-needed support for academic scholarships. All U.S. and international applicants to the Institute master’s degree programs are considered for an Institute merit-based scholarship once they have been admitted. More than 90 percent of students qualify for and receive financial aid each year.
The Institute Community
Gifts to the Annual Fund support seminars, speaker series, and public events that build community in our locations on the Monterey Peninsula; in Washington, D.C.; in Vienna, Austria; and all over the world. The Annual Fund supports campus technology, the library, and campus facilities.
Professors in all disciplines are teaching at the Institute right now. Annual Fund gifts support their work, provide resources to attract and retain first-rate professors, and create opportunities for professional scholarship and research.
How Can I Make a Gift?
Every Gift Counts
Every gift to the Institute Annual Fund—no matter the size—makes a difference.
It’s never too soon to think about giving back. Giving to the Institute Annual Fund sends a message to students and faculty that alumni, friends, foundations, corporations, and other major donors think the education provided by the Institute brings value to the world.
In addition, many donors look at alumni giving as a vote of confidence in their school and often examine the percentage of alumni giving when they are considering making their own gifts. This participation rate also factors into college ranking systems. High marks help to attract the most talented students and faculty in the world.
