The 3rd Space: A New Civic Engagement model

November marks one year since the 2016 Presidential Election outcome. Where have we been, and where are we now? The 3rd Space Model is a response to the current political context, offering a new path forward politically. The project, led by Maria Prichard MPA’17, began as a Directed Study in partnership with Dr. Mahabat Baimyrzaeva and evolved into Maria’s final Practicum Project under the guidance of Alfredo Ortiz. This event will include a presentation of the 3rd Space Model as well as an interactive simulation of one of its components. Come with an open mind and creative ideas for a new vision of politics.
