Join us for an inspiring evening with Alana DeJoseph, the acclaimed director of the Heartland Emmy Award-winning documentary A Towering Task. Alana will delve into the rich legacy of the Peace Corps, highlighting its profound impact on international development. Drawing from her documentary, she will explore the themes of sustainability and the future of global development, especially in light of recent challenges such as the reduction of USAID funding. This event will not only celebrate the past achievements of the Peace Corps but also inspire us to envision and work towards a sustainable future. The evening will culminate in a bell dedication ceremony, celebrating the Middlebury Institute of International Studies’ 10-year partnership with the Peace Corps.
