This two-week course will allow students to attend lectures at the Department of Nuclear Reactors at the Czech Technical University (CTU) and conduct experiments on the research reactor. There will also be meetings with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria.

Where: Prague, Czech Republic, and Vienna, Austria

When: January 5-15 (Prague, Czechia); January 15-23 (Vienna, Austria)

  • Tuesday, January 5: Arrive in Prague (Prague hotel stay starts)
  • January 6-15: Program at Czech Technical University (weekend is free)
  • Friday, January 15: Check out of hotel in the morning and depart for Vienna in the early evening after class
  • January 18-22: Program at VCDNP, VIC, and Seibersdorf IAEA Laboratories
  • Saturday, January 23: Check-out of hotel
