In the modern workplace, we often emphasize the importance of evidence-based decision making. As a global professional, you may be asked to collect, analyze, and present primary and secondary data to decision makers and influencers. It’s important to convey information in a manner that is easily understandable to your audience. Your data should tell a story that engages your audience and urges them to action. In this workshop, we will define what we mean by data visualization, look at examples of effective and less effective visualizations, and walk through some easy steps to create your own. Resources on best practices and useful tools will be shared.
