The Graduate Initiative in Russian Studies is hosting a lecture by Dr. Vladimir Orlov, expert on international security and Russian foreign policy on, “The Future of Russian-U.S. Strategic Relations.” This lecture will be in Russian.
Dr. Vladimir Orlov’s research areas include major threats and challenges to international security, primarily, nuclear nonproliferation. Dr. Orlov founded PIR Center in 1994 and was the institute’s Director until April 2015 when he decided to step down while remaining on Center’s Executive Board and concentrating on specific nuclear nonproliferation and other projects as Center’s Special Advisor.
