An overview of how companies like Microsoft, Amazon and LinkedIn use automation, CAT tools and a mix of human and machine translation, to deliver high-volume localization quickly and with ‘appropriate’ quality – followed by some predictions about what localization may look like ten years down the road.
David Snider has been involved in languages and localization for most of his life, and has built localization operations and managed localization teams at Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and LinkedIn. He’s currently taking a year off to relax and travel before looking for his next localization adventure.
